our gumball trees (or Monkeyball trees) not only have "burning" foliage in fall but also a beautiful spring "burst" (that's what I'd thought during the last days) - but today (Mar-26) I found out, that these (I thought they were gumball trees) trees that have these beautiful red flowerlike sprouts are different from all (I KNOW these are gumball trees) trees in our yard, which don't even get started with any bloom-like growth didn't - did some research and identified them as Maples - here's a link to this Maple-Beauty: Acer rubrum (I'm hoping I got this right now)
